Infrared deep warmth as therapie.

The internationally recognised hyperthermia expert Dr. med. Ralf Kleef has been researching into infrared deep warmth for many years. At his Institute of Warmth and Immune Therapy (IWIT) in Vienna he successfully applies various techniques of infrared deep warmth therapeutically

Hyperthermia treatment.

"Hyperthermia" is the specialist term for the targeted artificial increase of the core body temperature in order to mobilise the immune system and be able to combat diseases more effectively. In medicine, such hyperthermia is produced with the aid of short-wave infrared A radiation. Depending upon the objective, the core body temperature is raised to 38 - 42° C. This therapy requires strict medical supervision or intensive care procedures.

Successful therapy concepts.

Based upon research, successful therapy concepts have been developed at the Institute of Warmth and Immune Therapy (IWIT) on the basis of hyperthermia with infrared radiation. These cover:

• Seasonal depression

• Thermal regulation blockage (inability to run a temperature)

• Stress conditions and muscular tension

• General pain conditions

• Asthma, bronchitis

• Dermatological diseases

• Fibromyalgia (soft part rheumatism)

• Arthrosis, arthritis

• Vertebral complaints

• Chronic infections and immune deficiencies

• Cancer

Optimal preventive care and post treatment with Physiotherm.

Apart from medical hyperthermia treatment with infrared A radiation, Physiotherm low temperature infrared cabins are in use at the Institute of Warmth and Immune Therapy.

The unique Physiotherm technology permits several physiological benefits of hyperthermia to be used in the case of mild increases in core body temperature without medical supervision.

This is why Physiotherm Far Infrared Saunas are used to maintain therapy following medical hyperthermia treatment, and also as provision of effective preventive medicine at home.
