With Physiotherm, your body tones itself.

What is health? Health is a condition of bodily and spiritual well-being. Traditional non-Western cultures believe that diseases are caused by the lack of dialogue between body and soul. Physiotherm Far Infrared Saunas lend credence to this ancient belief. It is also for this reason that physicians are happy to recommend Physiotherm.

Physiotherm infrared cabins generate the same kind of infrared radiation as the sun: a radiation without which life would not survive.  This healthy radiated warmth and the cabin temperature are attuned so precisely to the human body that this is warmed up gently "from the inside to the outside", causing healthy perspiration. The body is not put under stress but strengthens itself.

The effects of the Physiotherm Far Infrared Sauna in preventive medicine are scientifically confirmed. So far, over 300,000 users have been convinced of the actual benefits. Below, we provide some useful tips for optimal use.

Application recommendations for Physiotherm infrared cabins:

  • Set the infrared regulator to the highest level and sit with your back facing the radiator. In cool rooms you can, where required, pre-heat the cabin for about three minutes. Should you feel a light burning sensation or too much heat, reduce the intensity of the radiator.

  • Use the infrared cabin as often as you want, be it daily or several times a week. Generally a session lasting 20-40 minutes is found to be optimal.

  • Drink a large glass of water both before and after the session. A warm shower beforehand encourages perspiration. Dry yourself thoroughly before the session.

  • Sit on a towel inside the cabin and use towels on the towel holders in order to keep perspiration away from the inside walls.

  • Take care that the ceramic tubes do not come into contact with water in order to prevent technical defects. Please do not hang any towels or other items in front of the radiator.

  • Switch the infrared regulator to the required intensity. You can regulate this at any time, fully in accordance with your warmth requirements.

  • For safety reasons the infrared radiation is switched off by a time switch after about 50 minutes.

  • Remain inside the cabin as long as it suits you.

  • After use, switch the cabin off and leave the door open in order to let the perspiration evaporate.

  • After that it is best to refresh yourself with a lukewarm shower.

  • Then simply clean the cabin with a damp cloth.

  • Now your Physiotherm infrared cabin is ready for the next session.
