Tested quality.
Physiotherm infrared heaters are tested by the recognised research institute ARC Seibersdorf Research GmbH. Physiotherm infrared cabins have been tested and formally accepted in accordance with applicable standards and regulations by the German TÜV-Süd institute. Physiotherm commissioned the first research study ever on the physiological effects of low temperature infrared technology. A further study has proven that any strain that might occur to the skin (skin temperature or redness) is far below defined thresholds. In addition, the warming effect from the inside outward was substantiated.
Lifetime warranty.
We are so convinced of our quality that we give customers a lifetime guarantee on the ‘heart’ of the cabin, the infrared heating elements. In this respect, too, we are unique.
Patented lava sand technology.
Lava sand is cooled-down magma that originates about 50 km below the earth's surface. It possesses an unusual capacity for storing warmth at a constant level and for an extended period. The ceramic tubes filled with lava sand are thus unique and represent the ‘heart’ of every Physiotherm infrared cabin. This fine sand absorbs the warmth given off by the heating spiral and radiates it evenly in the form of infrared C radiation. Physiotherm is the only manufacturer worldwide that is allowed to offer this unique lava sand technology, perfectly suited to the needs of the human body - and this for more than 13 years.
Globally unique: the original Physiotherm control unit.
The fully electronic, original Physiotherm system control unit is another incomparable innovation by Physiotherm. Every one of the functions, including the five pre-programmed and the five variable programs, can be quickly, easily and conveniently operated by means of the sensitive, user-friendly panel. Alternatively, the intensity of each individual heater can be set separately. The graphic display of the integrated monitor allows precise control of the program settings in four languages. The display is set to dim automatically after 30 seconds. In addition to the built-in player for MP3 music files, including a ‘shuffle’ feature that selects tracks by random generator, an external music source (e.g. CD player or iPod) can also be plugged in. And, especially for talking books, the player includes fast forward and rewind. Intelligent product development for pleasant, relaxed treatment sessions.

For the first time: individual user control.
With the individual user controls, the intensity of each individual infrared heater can be regulated separately. This means that, with cabin models having two or more user places, heater intensity can adjusted even more closely to the warmth sensitivity of each individual user: genuine individualised well-being.

A cabin generation developed with additional features for an even deeper feeling of well-being during your infrared session -with an exclusive design. Tyrolean star designer Georg Juen has come up with a completely new shape for a ‘healthy seat’ during a ‘healthy sweat’. With its arm and back rests in ergonomic design, this seat takes pressure off your spine while positioning you directly in front of the back heater. With contemporary flush surfaces, the cabins can be made to harmonise well with the style of interior architecture and may be individualised selectively with a larger or smaller glass face, completely in accord with user needs. And the built-in floor heating adds the perfect final touch to the well-blended array of new features.
